At Asha, we believe everyone deserves a chance to get educated. Our non-profit is run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about educating underprivileged children in India. Since inception, with the help of Kansas City community Asha Kansas City Chapter has distributed over $615,000 (as of 2024) to 15 projects in India.
In 2025, Asha for Education including all chapters in the USA disbursed over $3.57 million across 147 projects, directly benefiting more than 282,000 underprivileged children throughout India.
Asha once again received Charity Navigator’s highest 4-star rating, earning a perfect score of 100%.
This remarkable achievement was made possible by the efforts of over 1,500 volunteers worldwide, spread across 37 active chapters, who contributed more than 50,000 hours of service.
